Peoria Illinois Airport/Bus Station/Amtrak Train Pickup & Peoria Illinois Area Temporary Housing with IFI - International Friendships, Inc.

WELCOME!!   Arriving in Peoria, Illinois area soon? IFI (International Friendships Inc.) is offering support services and transportation pick up for New and Returning international students.  IFI is a national non-profit community organization with trained and vetted volunteers partnering with Illinois Central College.

IFI can offer transportation pick up from the Peoria, Illinois (PIA) Airport or from one of the Peoria, Illinois Bus Stations (Peoria Charter Coach bus) or the Amtrak Train Station in Bloomington/Normal.
Also, information about temporary housing (if needed or requested) is listed below.
Transportation and temporary housing services are free!       

Please allow us at least 24 hours advance notice to make transportation arrangements for any request.

Please read all of the transportation information before registering with IFI for any arrival transportation services from IFI.  You will need to read all the info AND read the info on the blue link below if you will be buying a bus ticket from Chicago O'Hare Airport to Peoria, IL. 
If arriving at Peoria, IL airport (PIA) or Bloomington, IL airport (BMI) or Amtrak Bloomington, you can skip the blue link and proceed to read the below info and complete the form below.

3)  Once on that next page document, read the whole document before purchasing bus ticket.
4)  Then come back to this page to register for your arrival and using the services of IFI.  You will need your bus ticket information before completing the form below.

IFI does NOT provide pickups from any Chicago airports. Only Peoria, IL. Once you purchase your bus ticket, then you can proceed to complete the following form.

ARRIVING AT BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL AIRPORT OR AMTRAK TRAIN STATION

Please note that IFI Transportation from/to Bloomington/Normal Airport or Amtrak are ONLY available at the beginning and at the end of each semester for arrivals and departures (end of July/August, December, January, May).   Not during the semester.

Local Temporary housing with a vetted/screened/trained IFI Volunteer/family (for up to
 3 nights) is offered while awaiting check-in at Campus Housing or until your other Peoria area housing is ready/available.

These services are FREE!
